I just bought my first bass boat. I have been fishing from a Regal 2300 for a couple of years and decided to get a purpose built boat.
The boat has a Merc 175 2 stroke.
I have been thinking through how I can upgrade the boat to as close as I can to 2012 technology.
I have already purchased a Humminbird 898c SI for the dash electronics.
The bow electronics are a Humminbird 140 (I think that is the right #).
The trolling motor is a 65 lb Minn Kota.
My thoughts are:
1. Jack plate
2. Bimini Top-- I have a very fair skinned wife who is my fishing partner and does not do well in 8 hours of sun.
3. Hot foot
4. The seats are being re-upholstered.
I sure will appreciate some thoughts and recommendations. I bought this boat at a very fair price and have some extra $$ to improve an already good boat.
