i decided that i wanted a larger boat thn the 17'6" venture that i bought last year so when a coworker wanted to buy the venture, i let him. after looking at several rangers, skeeters, a stratos, a gambler & the javelin, i decided on the javelin.
it's a 389t with the deck extension powered by a evinrude intruder 175. i saw 63 on the gps yesterday
and it is well rigged with a new 71lb thrust motorguide, etc etc. the interior feels like an aircraft carrier compared to my venture, as does the stability of the hull while walking around.
does anyone know if the transom is composite on these boats?? mines a '93.
