This boat was brought in an we were told it was taking on water at a rapid rate.. Routine issue, frozen plumbing normaly where you can not see it. Find leak by plugging livewell fill, areator, and overflow holes and filling livewell. Find and fix leak. No leaks found. Next, to check tru-hulls, plug back holes and fill with water---still no leaks. ??? Check bottom of hull--looks like new--Off to lake to see if it really does leak--- Yep--pretty fast, found leak at transom joint-port side -fix and back to lake to make sure it's fixed-- Not quite as bad- but water still getting in boat somewhere forward of fuel cell--really thought fixed only leak-- Back to shop- pressure wash and vac years of debris from back of boat, remove batteries, found cracks under battery box, water oozing out, drilled drain hole in floatation chamber under battery and let water drain. now back to lake after tightening all plumbing and thought it was done since some plumbing fittings were loose. Open up access hole next to drivers seat, found water coming from further forward. ??? Back to shop and find faulty sealant and two rubbed holes in keel protector. Sealed all keel protector holes. Opened up access hole in forward dry box above where keel guard leak should have been. Grabbed camera, foam, flashlight, Carharts, and back to the lake surely for the last time, but just wanted to make sure it was really fixed. What the video shows is what I found next.
