Greetings to all....I'm a new member and really need some advice on how to proceed on a new bass boat purchase. I'm pretty sure I'm going with a Stratos 186xt as my first boat ever!! I talked to a sales person at Cabelas; he relayed that I should consider upgrading the trolling motor, add additional on board battery chargers, up grade the fish finder, and should definitly go with the 115 EV. I'm on a budget, I can afford the boat, but all this additional stuff seems excessive....why do I need all this stuff? I'm fishing alone (or maybe with one other person), I'm not competing in tournments, I just want to fish on the weekends....but, I want to have fun, and I want to have a worry free experience...does this additional stuff help? Is it worth it and why?
