Obama Proposal to Protect Everglades

The President is proposing to create new wildlife refuges in the area north of Lake Okeechobee in order to protect the watershed from pollution, development and agricultural runoff. The details are preliminary at this point but if succesful it may improve the water quality of Lake Okeechobee and the Everglades further south.

I know he is not the most popular guy here but I think he got this one right if it eventually gets done.
