Well, I finally had time to work on the boat. I had posted some time ago about a "pulsing" I had gotten last time I had the boat out (mid-July). Well I went to get it going and the main battery was shot. Put in a new one and went to at least get it fired up using the water hose attachment.
After a lengthy amount of cranking and not having the motor fire, I got out of the boat to turn the water off. As I walked around the back of the boat, there was a fair amount of oil on the ground along with the water. Looks like the oil is coming out of prop area, possibly exhaust??? Thinking the motor may have flooded, I rested it and tried again. Seems like more oil came out and again, the motor never seemed to fire. It's 1993 Yahaha 150 and has just over 1,000 hours on it.
Just thought I would check here about ideas but I'm sure there is a trip to the mechanic shop in my future.
