Guys, I got 3 of these and am becoming a HUGE Fitzgerald supporter. The Okeechobee special is 7'6, heavy action rod with a huge backbone to muscle those big ones out of the thick grass.
To make matters even better, they offer a lifetime warranty on their rods. I just broke a stunner series that I had bought 2-3 years ago, sent in a 6" section and had a brand new rod knocking on my door steps in 5 days!.
I'm even using one of these Okeechobee specials on my inshore saltwater rig for those bigger snook, redfish, and other inshore species.
They may sound a little pricey but these are the strongest freshwater rods I've ever used!
