Well I made it to Bagram Airbase, and what a wild ride that was.
Woke up this morning and all I could find at first was fofo coffee, sh!t like rain forest nut and gingerbread, WTF?
The last place I looked should have been the first place I stopped, old retired 82nd Airborne cookie, now that was some good joe he was brewing.
I know where I'll be, come 0 dark thirty in the morning.
Back to the blackhawk ride!!!!!!!
I was pulled out of a meeting yesterday and told if I wanted to make my flight for R&R, I need to unazz the area, NOW. (due to the storm a coming)
I grab my pack and jump aboard the chopper, and the fun began.
We was to stop for fuel at an outlaying site, due to high winds, that didn't happen.
We finally made it to the northernest most site, a hell of aways from where I needed to be.
The pilot shut down and said we will be spending the night here, about 1430 the plans changed and we were flying.
All I can say, if anyone could copy that ride to a themepark ride, they would make millions.
There was a couple of young guys on the flight that I felt sorry for, I know they threw up their A holes a couple of times, because that was all they had left!!!
