This review is on the Phat Frog.
I was able to get to the lake Saturday morning early enough to enjoy the morning topwater action. I immediately tied on the Phat Frog topwater bait. This lure has the hollow body design, with the hooks coming back up over the back of the body. It has spinnerbait like skirts coming out each back corner for the leg action. I tried the bullfrog color, and also the solid brown color. This lure was a blast. Not only did it work in heavy cover, but it did an excellent job staying in the strike zone when needed. The skirts perform perfectly when inched along through the grass, and treetops. I ended up using this lure for about an hour, and was able to put 6 bass in the boat.
Summary:
This is an awesome frog bait. I would definately be willing to buy this lure off the shelf, and would gladly recommend it to my friends.
