i have a portable magellan gps that i use for other stuff.it has an sd slot so i can use different chips.does anybody think that it would be good enough to use to mark points out on the water, too? if this would save me some money from having to buy a mounted unit it would be nice. the two i have on my boat now don't have gps capabilities.:cheers:
