OK so it's been 9 days since my surgery (neck dissection/lymph node removal) occurred. Although recovery is coming along, still have limited mobility of lifting my right shoulder and probably have 50-60% of my neck movement back. Worst part of my recovery has been some swelling in the back of my neck area which needs to be seen tomorrow by the surgeon. May be a minor infection, which is causing a burning sensation along the incision line and chest area. Probably will give me some antibiotics and send me on my way in the recovery process. This swelling is killing my ability to have a good night's sleep so i can't wait till it's gone!

Worst part of my surgery is my friends have sent me some amazing big bass photos in the past 9 days from the Florida Everglades. Seems like lowest water levels are peaking now, meaning the big pigs are roaming the main canals, pushed out of the marsh areas. If you fish the Florida Everglades, you would understand this is the best 2-4 weeks out of the entire year to catch some monsters on a consistent basis. I've also missed a local tourney at my local spot L67 which yielded 25 lbs winning weight on a 5 bass weigh in.

Anyways, been to BPS, re-spooled 3 reels, and i'm ready to to... Just need my body to give me the green flag to get back to my weekly routine!
