I have a 2008 Merc. 115 Optimax. This motor is warranted untill 2008. My question is will Mercury Quicksilver 2 stroke oil void my warranty if I have to use it? I always use Optimax oil, but I got in a bind over the weekend and could not find any. I have the Quicksilver just in case of emergency. But according to my owners' manual, it must be TC-W3 certified, as is the Quicksilver. Will I be sorry if I have to use it?
