I do not play or keep up with tournament poker but I do fish bass tournaments at many levels and one of my competitors over the years has often been accused of cheating. Oddly enough, he is also a tournament poker player. Not saying he cheats at it, but I felt the poker community should know that Robby Rose from Garland, TX was arrested yesterday for cheating at a Big Bass tournament that was worth about $55,000. He stuffed a lead weight down the fishes throat so that it would weigh more.
My hopes are that he will be banned from poker the same way that he will be from bass fishing tournaments. I have no idea if this is the best place to post this so if this is info you are interested in, please pass it on.
