For boat owners who have hulls with trim tabs and trim tab pockets and want the advantage of the Seakeeper Ride system, there is now the new Seakeeper Ride Pocket Fit Kits. This is a high-density, durable 3D-printed pocket filler that can easily be fitted into the recessed transom pockets. The new Pocket Fit Kits make installing the Seakeeper Ride on more efficient and cost-effective compared to traditional fiberglass methods to fill in the trim tab pockets. A plug-and-play solution that shortens installation time so you can get back on the water faster to get the most out of the smooth ride from your Seakeeper Ride.

“Boats built today are increasingly designed to accommodate Seakeeper Ride by featuring a flat transom or recessed transom pockets designed specifically around our controllers,” said Andrew Semprevivo, President and CEO of Seakeeper. “The Pocket Fit Kits remove a key barrier to adoption for some aftermarket installations and enable all boaters to modernize existing vessels with complete underway stabilization.”
Because no two trim tab pockets are the same, with dimensions varying between brands, models, and even model years. Seakeeper Ride will maintain a digital library of trim tab pocket designs for producing accurate 3D models. These models will then be used to print out the Pocket Fit Kits on a made-to-order basis at Seakeeper Ride dealers at a price of $1000 as an initial offering price for select models of Cobia Boats, Grady-White Boats, and Sea Hunt Boats, with additional brands being added in the future.
