We have a river close by with some great bass fishing but the spots I like to fish are past some shallow water. Below is my 14' Jon boat with a shallow drive long shaft. Boat drafts less than 4" and I need about 8" of water to keep the prop from cavitating.
It's driven with a 9hp honda four stroke & elect start.
Prop shaft is 54" long. Doesn't turn very sharp, but you can get to almost anything with it.
