Thought somebody out there may have had the same or similar problem. I've got a 2000 ranger 518 vx camanche with a 200 efi mercury on it. As far as top end goes its pretty quick, won't keep up with the ally's or the bullet's, but for me its ok. The problem is taking off. The engine won't throttle up like it should. I don't believe its the prop not grabbing hold its the engine just won't respond until a few seconds later. Once it does (come alive) and gets on plane its fine. I've had it checked at some of the shops around here and they said they adjusted the throttle position sensor and for a short while its better, not great, but better. Any suggestions?:wallbash:
