My son just bought a 1984 17' Bass Tracker TX Tournament tin boat for 200 dollars and everything on the boat and trailer work but could use some work on replacing the carpet and some of the flooring. Decided while we were replacing the flooring to go ahead and extend the deck and add some more storage and put a trolling motor pan for the foot pedal and update the console. This should make a good starter boat. The trailer is in great shape and the 75 hp Mercury runs great also. Needless to say he happy with this purchase and has already bought batteries and a 3 bank charger getting ready to hit the water.
