I need to figure out what Tach. I need to use for my engine so I know what to replace it with. Someone adjusted the settings on it and now I've come realize that it's shot. Here is the motor I have:
1976 Merc 1150 115 HP Inline 6
Does anyone know how many many poles/magnets are typcially on the stater or flywheel? I wouldn't have a clue where to look but I'm told that's what I need to find out before considering replacement. Thanks!
