Temperatures in most area lakes and rivers are in the 80s and 90s. Expect the lakes to be windy. Always wear you P.F.D.
• Center Hill: Some smallmouth bass are being caught on spinner rigs. Largemouth bass bite is very slow.
• Cheatham: Some largemouth bass are being caught on jigs and top-water lures.
• Cordell Hull: Largemouth bass are striking jigs and crank baits.
• Dale Hollow: Smallmouth bite is very good again in 12-15 feet of water on top-water lures.
• Elk River: Smallmouth bass are being caught in deep holes.
• Duck River: Bite is best on the lower end.
• Harpeth River: Largemouth and smallmouth bass are being caught on live and artificial baits.
• Kentucky: Largemouth bass are being caught in very good numbers in 10-15 feet of water on jigs and Carolina rigs. Look for schools of shad.
• Normandy: Largemouth bass are being caught in the main river channel on jigs and crank baits. Smallmouth bass are also being caught in deep water.
• Old Hickory: Largemouth bass are striking top-water lures along with jigs and some soft plastics. Bite is best near the Gallatin steam plant.
• Percy Priest: Largemouth bass bite is best on top-water lures and jigs in 10-15 feet of water. Some hybrids are being caught on swim baits with temperatures rising again.
• Tims Ford: Largemouth bass bite is picking up, along with the crappie bite on minnows and jigs.
