The pros are here for the citrus slam out of Palatka. I decided to go to Rodman today and as I pulled into the ramp parking lot, Ike's rig was already there. As I was unloading my boat, Shaw Grigsby pulled in. Of course I had to go congratulate him for Harris Chain win.Super cool guy. He saw I had a couple of strike king baits tied on and asked me how I liked my talon.
Then out on the water I trolled by Tommy Biffle and he asked about directions to any ramps for Lake George.Cuz I love pitching and flipping, I wanted to say "you're my hero."
But that would have been gay.
Also saw Chris Lane,Kevin Short,Todd Faircloth, Bernie Schultz, and at least about 10 other wrapped boats that I didn't recognize.I know it sounds kind of corny, but it was kind of cool being out on the water with all those guys around.
Then when I was loading my boat back on the trailer, Ike came in. I could tell by his body language he didn't have a good day out there. So I asked him if he found any out there. He yelled at me to mind my own business!Just kidding. He was really cool. He told me what he found out there and what and where his next 2 practice days were going to be.
Man I'll tell you what, those guys really cover alot of water.I'm going back to Rodman on thursday and kind of curious if any of them are going to fish there. It's the first day of the tourney.
