I know its our own input to some degree,we all moved up to bigger wider longer boats.
So mfg all are making them bigger.wider and longer and longer.
Aso I bet profits are larger making huge ones versus smaller vessels.
But what ever happened to the pocket rocket, small speedy light boats, rated 135 or under.16 ft bb rated 135 hp composite boat would absolutely fly, weight was about 800 lbs.,actually a tad under but not much.
One did need a sporty to obtain the right gear ratio, but it would keep up with most 150hp boats, passing some.
Phoenix hasnt seen fit to make any of the smaller versions, maybe their isnt much call for them anymore, but they sure were fun rides.
