When I trim the engine down (bottomed out) , The trim switch on the bow and the one on the shifter will not trim up. The trim switch on the engine will work anytime, up or down. When I raise the engine with the trim switch on the engine a little bit, the other 2 switches will work normally, up or down. Is this a sign of trim motor going bad? I have never took one apart to see if there are more than one set of brushes that the switches use. I have trouble believeing it is a "dead" spot in the trim motor otherwise the trim switch on the engine itself shouldn't work . Am I correct in thinking this way? Any help will be appreciated greatly.
