On the way in today listening to the radio I learned some trivia that I thought was stupid but interesting.
ever wonder how "soap opera's" got the name soap.
turns out today in 1937 the first soap opera came on the radio and
was sponsored by proctor and gamble's soap Ivory soap.
Folks just started calling the show "the soap opera"
