I use 10# monofilament line for all my shakey head and Senko fishing. Being able to see the line is pretty important so I was pretty excited when Berkley introduced Trilene Transoptic.
The idea is that Transoptic is a pretty bright gold above the water line, but
under water. In use I found that the line was only visible above the water line in bright sunlight. It was not nearly as visible as regular Trilene under any low light condition.
Needless to say, it came off my reel after only a couple of trips.
