Had a third good trip out this year. For the second week in a row, the Glaize (Lake of the Ozarks) had a tourney going on. Bass boats stacked up like chord wood. Everyone wanting that precious rocky shoreline. I tried to squeeze in where I could, and finally gave up. So I started fishing around the docks, and WHAM:hook, three nice keepers (3 lbs+) in thirty minutes. I didn't have a ruler big enough the largest (over 18") and my dangnabitdontworkwhenIwantitto scale was no where to be found. The other two where just under 18". Found a few crappie, but you had to put the lure right smack dab in front of their nose, but did manage to catch a few. The bass relocated to my pond for future summer excursions.
With all the rain we had made the water look like chocolate milk, and the dang speed demon in his 45' Cigar boat racing at 100 mph made it a little tough. Had a fun day anyway, beats spending the day in the office, lol.
