Cheaha Winter Special
On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morningsovernight guest will have a free continental breakfast available in the hotel office from 7:30 a.m.-11 a.m. Select your breakfast items and take them back to the comfort of your room. (Restaurant closed for breakfast due to slow season). The Cheaha restaurant is open for breakfast on Saturday, Sunday and Monday (not included in the room rate). Mt. Cheaha 50K Run
Cheaha State Park will host the Sixth Annual 50K Ultra Marathon on Saturday, February 26. The race is a point-to-point trail run that finishes in the Cheaha State Park (near Bald Rock Lodge) at the summit of Cheaha Mountain. Along the run you will experience scenic overlooks, creek crossings, lakes, waterfalls, hardwood and pine forests. Eighty percent of the course is run on beautiful single track trails winding throughout the Talladega National Forest. Contact Todd Henderson at 205-492-7063 or email to ironmantodd@charter.net.
