Got a Powell Max 6'10 Wacky Rig Spinning Rod and a Falcon Cara T7 Spin 6'9 and pairing them with a Abu Garcia Orra S spinning reel.
I was planning on putting 30 pound braid on the wacky rig rod since I will probably be using it in or near the edge of the pads. i was going to put 12 pound test on the other rod (which i anticipate using for shakey head/ dropshot rigs).
My question is does this sound like the right line for these outfits or is it too heavy and will it affect the finesse presentation? Should I go with lighter line, skip the braid?
Any suggestions would be helpful since I don't usually fish finesse all that much other than dead drifting a senko but the cold fronts will start moving through soon and the Florida fish get real moody whe that happens.
