Had the brown goo stream coming from my lower engine bolts a few weeks ago and then began noticing flex in the transom. So I got to diggin around the inside of the bilge and notice a 3-4 inch lateral crack in the glass above the bottom bolt (with goo). Yup it's wet, yup I freaked out:eek:. I attemted to dry it out per the heat lamps but it's to far gone and I gonna have to get it replaced:icon_rock_band:. I'm sick to my stomach that I didn't catch it in time as i'm always watching bolts and reseal right at about every 3 years. Insurance was no help so it's coming out of my wallet.:icon_party: My thoughts were to sell her off and buy new but I just can't do it. I just WON"T do it. My 202 is my second child and to sell her off would just kill me. She's going to get repaired properly with composite and hopefully I'll never have to worry about it again (yes I will reseal regularly and continue to watch bolts, I'm aware anything can rot). I'm also coming out of the stone age and FINALLY going to put a 6 inch Rapid Jack on her. She currently is flat back on the transom (I'm still sticking with my cable steering tho). I have a 3 week wait then 2 weeks for the repair so I'm boatless shore trash for a while. ;) Good news is she'll be back and ready to go for the TOC in October. I'll post progress pics when I can.
