The final 1000 Island B/M tournament for the 2013 season was held yesterday on the St Lawrence River/Lk Ontario and what a tournament it was. The point standings of the top four anglers could have changed as all were that close and depended on the weights brought in. It was a great day on the river, light winds, sunny and mild temps. Wind on Lk Ontario was stronger for the one boater and guest that ventured there, but still fishable. Below are the results of a 5 bass limit and points positions didn't change.
1st Place- 22.75 lbs/all LM caught in the river.
2nd Place- 20.10 lbs/all SM caught in the lake.
3rd Place-19.26 lbs/LM & SM caught in the river.
4th Place-18.40 lbs/all SM caught in the river
Lunkers were: 6.42 lb/SM* & 6.38 lb/LM
*Gets lunker of the year trophy + cash prize 6lb pool.
Worth a mention that guest of 2nd place boater had a bag of 21+ lbs of SM.
