What a great day today after working on the Hydra Sports off and on since April 15th:
Busy day today but a productive day! Got the Lower Unit Lube all changed and topped off! Got Trailer Wheel Bearings all greased and boy was that needed. Got Registration Numbers on the Boat! Got Gas, Oil, and Star Tron Enzyme in the tank and actually got the 150 fired off this afternoon.
(Running on Muffs in the yard) Took a bit to get it going but finally fired off and ran good at idle speed for a little while. Put it in reverse and then forward and was well pleased with the days work!
(Thought the Carbs were going to be a problem but thank the Good Lord, so for they are working good!)
Great Water pump pressure so far. All instrument panel gauges working! Trim, Water Temp, Gas Tank, RPM, all working.
It has been at least 6 to 7 months since it was running and up to a year, depending on which of the previous owners family members you talk with. However it did crank within about 8 minutes of trying to get it started!
Just need to get it on the water for a good long run!
Got to say this! Thanks to all you guys who helped with this effort. All the tips, suggestions and PM's are so much appreciated and I have no doubt, it would not have fired off today without you folks help!
