Well I conducted a little test as the boat sat on the trailer at my home. I removed the pitot tube and used my aircompressor with 120 lb's of pressure connected to a variable valve so that I could slowly apply pressure. Well 83mph is as high as it will read, it takes hardly any pressure to get it to that point..Mistery solved...You would think it would at least go to 99 mph.
