I was fishing last weekend on the San Jaoquin River, near a submerged island.
Hooked a fish about 3.5 lbs. I get him in the boat and go to unhook, look down his throat and there is a tail and 2 legs stickin out!
So I get the long nose and pull on the tail and extract a 4" long baby rat!
I always hear about these stories... bass eatin everything and anything in the water that looks like a meal, but this is the first rodent I have seen.
How about the rest of you, what have you seen a bass eat?
