I have been scouting for a decent boat and came across a
95 Ranger 482V with an Evinrude 175 Intruder on it. MinnKota Maxxum 74# TM, Humminbird electronics.
Boat looks mint, however the owner - being very honest - said the motor had a bad cylinder. Asking price: $7000. incl Ranger Tailer.
I am not a mechanic, but what I need to know from you folks - Am I gettin into big bucks. What else may I find with this motor that may need more $$. Finally, do you think the asking price is a bit high considering the shape of the motor.
