    Trolling Motor Question

It is! But until you actually spend some time in one, you'll never understand the comfort and performance of the hull.... Steve

    How custom are LCBs?

Heck, I was tickled to death with my cat in the "standard" configuration. I just wish I didn't have to sell the boat! Errol, you were going to call me. 715-499-5021 Steve

    Favorite Handgun ?

My favorite hunting handgun is my Ruger Super Blackhawk chambered in .44 magnum. I've killed a lot of different critters with it. My carry gun is a Hi-Point 9mm (small and easy to conceal) and my nightstand gun is a Hi-Point 40 S & W. I know some people don't like Hi-Point, but I've got two...

    Glocks

I think I'd like to own a Glock. I'm left handed and I think with the Glock's trigger safety, that would be one of the few handguns I could carry concealed fairly easily. When you look at semi-auto handguns from a lefties' point of view, having the safety on the "wrong" side of the gun makes...

    Sterling/SHO

I didn't see the actual boat, but I did see digital pictures. That was enough for me! Steve

    Sterling/SHO

They're cool looking, but I wouldn't buy one! Two friends have bought them and both had serious issues. One BROKE IN HALF and the other has developed transom issues. Gambler refused to work on either because both guys were not the original owner... Steve

    Trip to LCB Factory

If you like that boat as much as I liked mine, you'll love it! Steve

    This year's bag.

No pictures were taken so far this year. I've taken one doe with one of my muzzleloaders, and one doe with my.45/70, that's it. Both neck shots, neither stepped out of their tracks... Steve

    Fishing Shows?

There's a good reason why Bill films on private water, and it isn't just about big fish. I know because I've talked with Bill personally about this a couple times... I've filmed quite a bit on public water and it's amazingly frustrating how often filming is ruined when some goober comes...

    What ya packing?

LOL, he just carries a Mountie! Myself? I carry a Hi-Point 10 round semi-auto chambered in .40 S & W. Then there's a short barrel 12 gauge pump sitting in the corner next to my bed. And my wife has a Ruger MKII .22 that she has on her nightstand. We might get robbed, we might be subject...

    scent eliminator or cover scent

I'm a firm believer in being as scent free as possible. I'm not a big fan of cover scents for the simple reason why advertise you're there? Simply play the wind and keep clean... Steve

    Anyone hunt with a pistol?

Pistol hunting is a lot of fun, but it does require a lot of practice and patience. People think they can just go out, buy a pistol and they automatically are a great shot. That's NOT the case. I've got a Ruger Super Blackhawk that I've done a lot of hunting with, and it works great, but then...

    Meat in the freezer

I finally got permission to hunt some land nearby my home. On the first day of Tennessee's muzzleloader season, I shot a big doe. The deer was down at 8:00 a.m., skinned, cut up, vaccuum packed and in the freezer by 4:00 p.m.! Steve

    calibers

Yep, with the muzzle brake, it recoiled just about like a 12 gauge shotgun and 3.5" shells. I kept five shots (all that I was allowed to shoot) inside a three inch circle at 500 yards. It was fun to shoot, but the particular ammo was about $5.00 every time I pulled the trigger. Steve

    calibers

The .25-06 is a great caliber. I built a custom .25-06 on a Mauser action and it shoots like a dream. But it's NOT a rifle that should be someone's primary weapon. If you're never going to shoot anything bigger than a mule deer, then you'd be fine, but the .25-06 just doesn't have the...

    calibers

Well, based on what you're saying, you're probably NOT going to like what I'm going to tell you. A simple .30-06 will serve you very well. Shooting 150 grain bullets, you'll do well on pronghorn antelope, whitetail and caribou. 180 grain Nosler AccuBond or Partition bullets would be my...

    Anyone Have Lanier Fishing Pics

They're friggin' huge! You will NOT find a boat as easy to fish from, nor with more deck room and storage space than a Lanier. It's that simple... When I owned mine, I was actively guiding for fishing. I was able to take three clients out in the boat, and no one felt crowded. Steve
