Ok per some requests I'm going to post some pics of the transom replacement as I get them. For those of you not familiar my transome got wet and began to rot without me realizing it. I tried to dry it out with no joy. So it's being repaired and replaced with coosa board.
I ordered a piece of Coosa 48x32 inches, 1 1/2 inch thick from: Coosa Board | Coosa Composites | Boat Decking Material Shipped to my door from Florida to Missouri was a little under $300.00. That's plenty big enough for the transom, elbows and then some.
I'm not a glass repairman but will try and answer any questions you might have.
Day 1
Engine Pulled (The guys at Eberlin Marine had me in and out in less than 40 minutes)
