Did some prop thinking over the winter wasted $200 and gave up. Then the post by Danwicker got me think'n again (never a good thing).
97 Astro 1800, 92 Merc 150 Unidentafiable 20p prop, no jackplate. It's 3 blade with 20p stamped in the hub but no other markings.
Good hole shot, 6k rpm 54mph on the gps.
I bought a 23p LaserII off ebay and the results were
Thought I was going to have to paddle to get on plane, 52k rpm was all she would pull at about 48mph.
A guy on another forum suggested 21p Tempest Plus but, they look mighty expensive for a test.
What's the thoughts here?
