THE TRUTH: SAME WEIGHT/ SAME HORSE POWER:
We know of a gentleman (bass industry guy, not boat racer) who did a little research. He found the XB 21 weighed close to many 19 ft bass boats of the mass marketed brands ( give or take 130lbs).
Results?: XB21 hull was faster, more effecient with the same horse power. Most 19ft bass boats run a 175 or 200. The XB21 (a longer boat) WEIGHING THE SAME ran as much as 20 mile per hour faster.
Allison's hull is patented. Its construction and some materials are confidential. The XB21 with a 200 can reach speeds of 82 mph. SIMPLY AMAZING
