I'm not sure I brought this up in another thread but it's worth a
repost if I did
jack plate, aluminum non cleared rims, aluminum unpainted lower units
or really any aluminum discolored try Eagle one with etch. It was originally
developed for use on bare aluminum rims to get the brake dust stains off.
But it works better than anything I've ever used on bare aluminum to make it look new again. And I've even used EZ off oven cleaner back in the day to clean aluminum ( yes it worked well but burns like hell) . Anyway, spray it on and hose it off ...done thats it no rubbing no scrubbing nothing
I get it at advanced auto parts but it's available in most parts stores
