Fiberglass help

Hey everyone, just bought my first bass boat. It's a great looking boat just has a few small chips in the paint showing the fiberglass bedding. My question is what is the best way to go about fixing it. I used to do a lot of repair work on fiberglass when I raced, but just want to know for sure that I go about it the right way.
Also, what are yall using to clean polish and protect your boats?
