Not a bad day (June 9th). Caught probably 30 bass in total (3 of us). Definitely summer patterns are slowing things up a bit with water temps in the mid 80's but still a great day out in the Florida Everglades!!! Top water has slowed down the most, as we were in the water at 6am and only caught 4-5 bass on topwater all morning long. Caught most of the fish today with different types of worms (senko, ribbon tail, trick worms-all texas rigged) and stick baits always seem to catch bass in the Everglades.
Launched off Tamiami Trail and fished L67 to the North towards Holiday Park and also West around 6 miles towards Tippy's restaurant.
Definitely not the madness of larger more consistent bass like Feb-April months yielded. Water temperatures and rising waters are making the fishing a bit tougher but a day out in the water is always a great day!
