The water was low at the launch ramps which means you have to be careful as the rub rail will be up against the concrete. Water was clear and the weather was sunny and hot. I've got the sunburn to prove it. Went out around 2PM mostly to test the boat, but we also fished for a bit.
3 Bass landed but all where small, almost fry size, with eyes bigger than their stomachs. They hit on soft plastics, such as a blue sparkle crawfish, and dark colored worms. Got a bunch of hits on Zoom Flukes in Green Apple, but nothing big enough to set the hook on. Lots of small bait fish out there so if you like Brim, bring a rod.
