U.S. Coast Guard Closes Mississippi River to Recreational Traffic from the 185.5 MM to the 109.9 MM​

By order of the United States Coast Guard the Mississippi River has been closed to recreational boating traffic from mile marker 109.9 Hwy 51 bridge in Chester, IL to mile marker 185.5 Chain of Rocks lock and dam #27. This closure is in response to the high water levels.
