LAKE SEMINOLE IS DOWN 1.1FEET, 78 DEGREES, CLEAR by Matt Baty

Bass fishing is tough and with all of the tournaments on the lake, the fishing pressure has nearly shut down the bite. Most of the tournaments are being won by fishing the frog and flipping.
The grass beds are really matted and the tops of them are beginning to die back and turn to scum. Early in the morning is the best time to throw the frog and the bite will last for only an hour or so then it is time to flip. For the frog, use a Spro Popper in Nasty Shad. When targeting grass lines for flipping, the ones in 7 to 10 feet of water have seemed to be producing better. With the fishing pressure 25 pound Sunline fluorocarbon is a must instead of braid. The best set up for flipping is a 1 and 1/4 ounce Tungsten weight a 5/0 straight shank Gamakatsu hook and a 4" Big Bite Baits Fighting Frog in Blue Fleck. The main deal with the flipping is to fish extremely slow and try not to make much noise.
