LAKE SINCLAIR IS DOWN 2 FEET, 74 DEGREES AND STAINED
By Mark Smith

Bass fishing is fair and there are more small bass feeding than larger ones. Fish the grass and the docks as usual, but head up the rivers for the better action. Early and late work the seawalls and any wood in the water. Use shallow running bandit crank baits and any spinnerbait you have with the willow leaf and Colorado blade and a chartreuse skirt. There are some schooling fish so the Fluke and the Zara Spook should be on a ready rod. There are fish still holding on deeper points down lake as well a edges of flats. Cranking large shad colored crank baits around main lake rocky point’s is productive early and late in the day. Fish the steeper river banks up lake and also fish the deep blow downs using a crank bait or a brown on black pig and jig. Look for the fish to start moving out on the points as the lake level drops.
