Maramec Spring Park: 56 degrees, water is clear and flow is normal for this time of year. The new rootwads in the lower section are holding fish well. Try small Rapalas if they are not hitting on the usual doughbait and plastic worms. (Report made on 6/23/2010)
Montauk State Park: 58 degrees, the river level is normal and steady as of 8:50 a.m. on June 23rd. The water is clear. Fishing is good on all baits with the best fishing in the morning and evening hours.
Aquatic vegetation removal will be conducted in Montauk Lake, Spring Branch and the Mill Dam Hole on June 23rd and June 24th.
