Blind Pony Lake: 76 degrees, normal, dingy; bluegill fair on nightcrawlers; largemouth bass fair on Rattle Traps; all other species slow; this lake is closed to private boats, and bait held or transported in containers with water is prohibited. (Report made on 6/24/2010)
Lake of the Ozarks (Bagnell Tailwater): 65 degrees, high, dingy; black bass slow on worms and dark colored soft plastic worms; white bass fair using light colored soft plastics and light colored Rooster Tails; crappie fair on minnows and crappie jigs; catfish fair using worms, cut baits and stinkbaits.

Bennett Spring State Park: 57 degrees, the spring level is about normal and clearing; best lures: ginger snap, persimmon and pink colored marabou jigs, pale pink glo balls, pearl grizzly and blue colored Cracklebacks, cream midges, orange with brown stripe colored Rooster Tails, grey scuds, black and yellow wooly buggers with gold plated head, brown roach, peach colored and yellow colored Power Baits and kapok, easter egg colored glo-balls. June fishing hours are 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Maramec Spring Park: 56 degrees, water is clear and flow is normal for this time of year. The new rootwads in the lower section are holding fish well. Try small Rapalas if they are not hitting on the usual doughbait and plastic worms. (Report made on 6/23/2010)
Montauk State Park: 58 degrees, the river level is normal and steady as of 8:50 a.m. on June 23rd. The water is clear. Fishing is good on all baits with the best fishing in the morning and evening hours.
Aquatic vegetation removal will be conducted in Montauk Lake, Spring Branch and the Mill Dam Hole on June 23rd and June 24th.
