Well, our 'Mystery Site' was held in Southern Ontario on the Rideau River
It was between 2 locks and gave us about 6 miles of water to fish. When I saw the 'slop' on both sides I was thrilled; My Kind of Water!! I figured I'd have a limit in a half hour and it would take 20lbs to win it. Boy, Was I wrong!:wallbash: I never saw so much slop that held nothing but sunfish. I caught 1 bass out of it the whole day and I tried everything. The other 4 came from around the locks on a Senko. Everybody said the same thing. The results.
1st-5 bass 9.30 lbs
2nd-5 bass 8.98lbs
3rd-5 bass 7.41lbs
1st lunker 2.96lbs 2nd lunker 2.86lbs
Our top angler 4 bass 5.97lbs
Copper 8th place 4 bass 5.53lbs
Real tough fishing and all agreed we wouldn't go back as it was not worth the ride.
