I like your phrase 'black tagging', whats that mean, pain meds only till dead? Fits i guess.......You could have my son take a look at it and give you an estimate on rebuilding it.....LOL! He's in Bixby, Okla. and has his own car restoration business. It would be like an investment, the old thing would just keep getting more valuable as time passed. His business is called 'DreamWeaver's', not much he can't do with metal. An '87 f150 might be a challenge for him but i bet he could make it look like a $100,000 car or better. I wish i had the money also, i'd let him do my 2001 F150 a little to dress it up. I'am probably looking at a new tranny, motor, and a few other things eventually. The running boards need to be replaced, new shocks are needed, a new set of coils would be nice. Its worth about $5,000 right now if i sold it maybe a little more. I've been looking at used ones lately just for the exercise and i couldn't afford any of the ones i have seen.
