Time and again I am asked the question.........."What can I do to get more speed.....all I want is an extra 3 or maybe 5 mph"
Well 90% of the time the answer is simple.............OPTIMIZE YOUR SETUP.
With some careful wrench turning and recording what you do there is actually a hidden 3-5mph in your rig if you have never setup your boat to perform at its best with what you have.
From the factory they bolt on an engine and a prop and sell it to you. With the addition of the correct jackplate, getting the ngine to the correct height, and installing the correct prop for your rig it will amaze you what your boat will do.
For example I have taken a boat that has never had a wrench on it ............SET IT UP CORRECTLY and wholla they are running 3mph,5mph ....shoot I have even unleashed an extra 8 mph on one rig.
So to make a long story short ....OPTIMIZE YOUR SETUP..........it will increase performance AND increase MPG.
