Let the adventure begin! Jeff Coble will be heading north this week with my new boat from David Fritts Outdoors. Gonna' meet him in southern Maine this weekend. The learning curve will be long and I will have lots of questions. This is a huge step up from my first bass boat, a 17' aluminum Crestliner w/40hp Suzuki to this Phoenix w/225 ETEC HO. Am I gonna' have fun, or what?!! I drove the little boat for 10 years fishing 15-20 tournys a year, so I'm not a total rookie. But, I'm definitely going to take it slow and easy learning how to drive this boat. I've ridden in and fished out of big boats. Fished as co- in BASS Open on Champlain last year and I'm going again in July. I will keep you all informed on how much fun I'm having and ask the questions as they come up. Let's roll!
