Any of you guys ever sail a bigger sail boat?
I have a hobie cat that is a blast but have never sailed a big one. I got this real cheap and have been redoing it last summer. It is a 36' Irwin MkII hull. I have repainted the sides and sealed the bottom & have the bottom paint settin here waiting for spring. It has a Universal 4 cyl. motor that I have here at the house gettiing a total rebuild on it and the trani.
It is kinda neat old boat, has 2 staterooms, head with shower and hot water, galley, salon, nav. area with desk, wheel sreating, ect.
Probally not one of my better ideas but it looked fun to me.......lol
So far here is how it looks!
It came from Lake Michigan and has always been a fresh water boat.
Here is before and after we sandblasted the bottom and a pic of the old flathead Atomic4.
